Ideal for bolt-action and single shot .22 LR rifles (and perfectly safe in semi-automatics), this new reduced report cartridge generates ¼ the perceived noise level of standard velocity .22 LR round. Perfect for areas where noise may be a problem and ideal for introducing youth to the shooting sports, the Quiet-22 allows for safe shooting enjoyment without hearing protection.

CCI is known for making some of the finest rimfire ammunition on the market today. Now with the new Quiet -22 they fill a market niche that has long before been void while maintaining those same high quality standards. This whisper quiet round produces a report that is is only about 25% of the perceived noise level of other standard velocity 22 Long Rifle rounds. As such these rounds are perfect for backyard plinking, youth rifle training, or shooting in areas where noise may be a concern. This round is ideal for shooters using bolt-actions or single shot rifles (but is perfectly safe in semi-automatics however due to the low velocity semi-auto's may require hand cycling. Although these will sometimes cycle fine in rifles with light bolts we do not advise these for any semi-auto rifle if you are expecting it to cycle properly. This ultra subsonic ammunition is a perfect choice for shooting through your favorite rimfire suppressor or taking care of pesky squirrels in a neighborhood setting... Just be safe. CCI Quiet ammunition is new production and non-corrosive.

These cartridges may be used in semi-automatic firearms, however manual cycling of the action may be required.
